Metrics were selected, in consultation with participating land trusts, to demonstrate the value of PLC to conservation. The metrics were categorized into three relevant themes: biodiversity, watershed resiliency, and human well-being. The following table demonstrates the alignment of each metric to the themes with a description of each metric. Where no theme is indicated, the metrics are included in the "at a glance" section of the website and are intended to provide an overview.
